New Barbershop in TVM TOWER

From 1 February 2026, a new barbershop – BARBERlab – will open in the TVM TOWER building. BARBERlab will offer comprehensive men’s styling services in a pleasant and stylish environment that combines modern design with traditional barber craftsmanship. Clients can look forward to an individual approach, precise workmanship, and attention to detail. The range of services includes professional men’s haircuts, classic and modern hairstyles, straight razor shaving, beard trimming and colouring, as well as special combined hair and beard packages. BARBERLlab is an ideal place for regular grooming as well as a quick refresh during the working day. The new barbershop is located on the ground floor of the building, in the entrance hall opposite the reception desk, next to the bistro. Ahead of the start of the 2025/2026 academic year, we completed the renovation of the study room on the 19th floor of the TVM TOWER building. The space has been modernised to provide students with a comfortable, inspiring and multifunctional environment for studying and relaxation. As part of the renovation, the wooden floor was refurbished and new tables and chairs were installed. The space has also been equipped with table tennis tables and a dedicated relaxation area. Raised tables were added to allow students to enjoy unique views from the 19th floor over the surrounding landscape, including the Modřany Valley and the Komořany area. Students use the study room not only for studying but also for relaxation and socialising, making it a natural meeting point and a place for building new friendships. In the future, we plan to organise regular student gatherings in this space to support students, especially those from abroad, with their adaptation and everyday challenges in a new environment. We believe that the renovated study room will contribute to a more pleasant atmosphere in the TVM TOWER building and become a popular place for studying and social interaction.

Od začátku letošního roku je v ČR zaznamenán zvýšený výskyt onemocnění virové hepatitidy A, známé také jako žloutenka. Toto infekční onemocnění se přenáší dotykem kontaminovaných předmětů, čímž si získalo označení „nemoc špinavých rukou“. Abychom zajistili větší bezpečnost, zintenzivnili jsme dezinfekci prostor, kde existuje vyšší riziko přenosu tohoto onemocnění. Tlačítka ve výtahu, vstupní turnikety a kliky dveří se dezinfikují několikrát denně. Proti tomuto onemocnění je také možné se nechat očkovat. Očkování provádí i lékaři v ordinacích Váš praktický lékař (v přízemí TVM TOWER). Termín očkování si můžete domluvit přímo se sestřičkami v jakýkoli všední den mezi 11:00 a 12:00 hodinou. Ordinace vítá všechny zájemce, nemusíte být jejich registrovaným pacientem.
